Paris Day 1 -- Oct 2
We have a couple hours to kill before we can head to our air b&b. After getting our bags and heading through passport control we find that the airport is not a pleasant place to be. We pick up some pastries and coffee but then head to the Sheraton where we have a comfortable place to sit and wait in their bar area. More coffee and a hot chocolate. Around noon we head back to the terminal to call our Uber. Very easy and our driver is great but drives like a mad man through the tunnel. We arrive at 58 Rue Singer at 1pm on the dot. Alice shows up soon thereafter and shows us our lovely apartment. Time to crash for a few hours.
We have a dinner reservation at Le Bois which is very near by. Lovely French bistro with a good dinner crowd. Great waiter. We have a nice Rhone wine, a steak and frites with Béarnaise, lamb riblets with eggplant, and a chocolate mousse like dessert. Not gourmet but very tasty and very enjoyable. Peek of the Eiffel Tower as we walk home. Home to keep up a bit with the Bronco game then head to bed.
